In 2024, Lewis, a self-professed burger connoisseur, started playing around with the idea of creating and cooking burgers and fries in a unique style inspired by American dining.
Supported by his friends and family, Lewis wanted to explore the idea of creating a food business that provides a memorable dining experience. The only question was how to make the dream into a reality.
The first step was to buy a food trailer. We needed to be mobile, kitted-out with great equipment, versatile, and something that was eye-catching. As soon as the order went in to the manufacturer, the rest some would say is history.
We have all, at some point, been disappointed with a burger we have ordered. SMASHIN IT’s philosophy is to always produce food that customers are incredibly satisfied by.
We have only been operational since June 2025, but we have big dreams, and a bigger work ethic. Most importantly, we are giving our customers a great burger. That, combined with great vibes, is what we are all about.
We believe in world class, smash burgers and fries, using locally sourced ingredients and fine-tuned cooking methods. Our goal is to offer the very best burger in Hampshire.
We love to have fun, chat away, sing and maybe dance when the time is right. That’s what it’s really about - connecting with people and having a great time.

Burgers may seem simple. Bun, beef, cheese, onion, sauce. But, in actuality, creating a great burger is a complex art.
There are a thousand variations of a burger, so making a truly stand out one is a difficult task.
But, we revel in the challenge of impressing our customers through creativity, passion, and authenticity.
We want to be known for consistenty, so every time we serve a customer we want it to be a positive experience from start to finish.
We also want to keep things fresh, so we want to offer excitment and value wherever we can. We will do this by offering special additions to our menu, creating an enjoyable, unique atmosphere, and contributing to the community.
